Stand Up Paddle Boarding

The World’s fastest growing water sport.

Stand up paddle boarding in Scotland.

What is paddle boarding?

Paddle boarding is essentially standing on a surf board using a paddle to propel you through the water. It is incredibly easy to learn and accessible for all ages and abilities plus unlike other water sports it is very quiet, so wildlife are not disturbed thus allowing you to get that bit closer to nature. There is no better way to see Scotland than from the water.

Why paddle board with us?

Learn a new skill, learn about the natural world around you and finally see Scotland from a completely new and different perspective!

What we offer?

We try to run sessions daily. Each session can last between 1.5hours or 3 hours depending on location and style of booking. Times are inclusive of kit up, briefing and de-kit times.

We have a minimum age of 8 and there is no need to be able to swim. All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

We take 6 people per session so pre booking is essential.

Check out our Get Involved front page or social media sites to see our weekly timetable for prices and locations. We try to stay flexible allowing us to pick the most appropriate venues for weather/tides etc.

We also cater for birthday parties, stag/hen doo’s, team building and corporate days, call or drop us an email with your requirements and we will do our best to provide a most memorable day.

Where we operate?

Our main locations are Catterline Bay and Montrose Basin, however we are always adapting and looking for new venues. If you think you have a dream Sup location, give us a call and we will happily come check it out.

The majestic Catterline Bay makes a stunning location for Stand up paddle boarding. With regular sightings of puffins, seals and dolphins mixed in with stunning scenery and rock formations including a massive arch way to paddle through. It truly is one of the most stunning coastal environments on the east.

The historically beautiful Montrose Basin is a sheltered, friendly environment for Stand up paddle boarding, with views across the basin through to Glen Esk, a whole array of sea birds and also its own family of seals, not to mention its incredible and diverse history.
