What is stand up paddle boarding?
Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is essentially standing on a surf board, whilst using a paddle to move yourself through the water. It is incredibly easy to learn and accessible for all ages and abilities.

Montrose Basin and Forfar Loch – Sunset Sup Experience and Taster Lessons.
Montrose Basin is a sheltered and safe environment for stand up paddle boarding. This location is suitable from complete beginners to those looking to tour further and admire the wild life that the nature reserve has to offer. Whatever your SUP boarding experience, you will not be disappointed with the natural surroundings, sea birds and, if your lucky, the basins own family of seals. Montrose basin is rich in history, and with the stunning railway bridge as its backdrop, will make this location a thoroughly rewarding place for your SUP experience.

Catterline Bay and Lunan Bay – Sup Safari Experience
These SUP Safari locations will provide the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, in a beautiful surrounding of either an idyllic coastal harbour, or miles of sandy beach and dunes. Our 3-hour SUP Safari Experience will give you plenty of time to enjoy everything the coastline has to offer whilst developing your paddle boarding skills on the open water. Once you have found your sea legs, keep your eyes open for the local wild life you may encounter; such as dolphins, puffins, seals and even the friendly octopus. These locations are two of the most stunning coastal environments the East Coast of Scotland has to offer.

Montrose Beach – Sunrise Sup Experience
Start your day the right way – by watching the sun rise over the horizon of the sea, shedding light on a new day. A calm session encouraging clients to relax and let the motion of the ocean take over, from meditation to yoga poses – the choice is yours.
Clients can relax and practice their paddling skills under the rising sun whilst under the watchful eye of one of our instructors. Coffee and croissants are included as a much needed welcomed breakfast snack after your experience.
Cost per person – £25
• All participants must be 8 years or older.
• There is no requirement to be able to swim.
• All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
• Buoyancy aids must be worn throughout your experience.
